Volunteer Program

    Thank you for your interest in our volunteer program here at Brandywine Battlefield.

Volunteers contributing valuable time and talents, become instrumental in assisting our staff in the many programs and special events. Bringing history alive for our visitors who come from all points of the globe, can be one of the most fulfilling aspects of volunteering.


Our museum shop, educational programs, tours of our historic houses, character portrayals, and planning special events are just some of the ways that you can put your talents to work with us. We will be more than happy to assist you in putting your valuable time and energies to the best advantage.

While prior experience is not necessary, we would like to know what past experiences, and interests you may have to get a better idea of what areas would work best for you. Your enthusiastic spirit and optimistic attitude help to make our visitors’ time with us informative and memorable.
